More Evidence Of Blair Giving Up On Climate Change |
"In an alarming development, Prime Minister Tony Blair signalled that he is shifting away from legally binding targets to cut greenhouse gas missions.
Speaking at a meeting of international environment and energy ministers at the beginning of November, Tony Blair said that legally binding targets to cut greenhouse gas emissions made people "very nervous and very worried".
WLFOE comment: So Tony Blair does not want legally binding targets. Presumably he will be happy with voluntary ones. These would be about as effective as voluntary income tax!
